Software license key request


Following your purchase of an ISaGRAF product, you (or at your option, your customer) will receive either:


- An Email from Centris Technologies with order information -or-
- A shipped package containing a CD and paperwork.

Step 1- Before requesting the software keys, the end-user needs to install the ISaGRAF software on the computer where the keys will be installed. Installation can be performed from either a supplied CD, or using files downloaded from the Centris Technologies website.

Step 2- After the software is completely installed, the end-user must identify which modules he is entitled to license. This will be detailed either in the order email, or on the sheet of paper marked IMPORTANT in the package received.

Step 3- The end-user then goes to the ISaGRAF license manager.

3.1 Selects on the left hand side pick box the first module to license and moves it to the right pick box by clicking on the arrow, selecting proper attributes if applicable (for example, ISaGRAF 3 Soft - IO count 32).

3.2 repeat step 3.1 for each other module you may be entitled to license.

Step 4- The above step will have generated a setup code and one or more pairs of user codes. The end-user then sends these three codes to his distributor or, alternatively, in an email to: support@centristech.com along with the following information:
___- Name
___- Company name
___- Centris order number (AAAOxxxx)

*** DO NOT CLICK ON THE SEND BUTTON BELOW THE USER CODE 2 *** This will send the request directly to ICS Triplex ISaGRAF. They do not have records of your purchase and will not generate the keys

Step 5- Centris Technologies technical support will validate the request and will send back an Email with sets of keys. These keys need to be sent to the end-user.

Step 6- The end-user enters the above keys into the proper fields of the ISaGRAF license manager and presses "proceed". As modules are licensed, they will be greyed out in the right hand pick box. The ISaGRAF software is now licensed and ready to run.

*** Important *** Keys generated by Centris are valid only for the computer where the user codes were originally generated. Keys will not work on any other computer. Should you wish to transfer licenses from one machine to another, please follow the instructions in the "transfer licensing" tab of the license manager.


Following your purchase of a PlantVue product, you (or at your option, your customer) will receive either:


- An Email from Centris Technologies with order information -or-
- A shipped package containing a CD and paperwork.

Step 1- Before requesting the software key, the end-user needs to install the PlantVue software on the computer where the key will be installed. Installation can be performed from either a supplied CD, or using files downloaded from the Centris Technologies website.

Step 2- After the software is completely installed, follow the instrutions in the follwing procedure:

*** Important *** the license.dat file generated by Centris is valid only for the computer where the PlantVue software was originally installed. The Key will not work on any other computer. Should you wish to transfer licenses from one machine to another, please contact us.


Following your purchase of a FrontVue product, you (or at your option, your customer) will receive either:


- An Email from Centris Technologies with order information -or-
- A shipped package containing a CD and paperwork.

Step 1- Before requesting the software key, the end-user needs to install the FrontVue software on the computer where the key will be installed. Installation can be performed from either a supplied CD, or using files downloaded from the Centris Technologies website.

Step 2- After the software is completely installed, run the FrontVue software and enter the demo mode. This will have generated a license.dat file on the PC, in the following folder:

Program Files / PCVUE inc / FrontVue / Program

Step 3- The end-user then has to send the license.dat file to their distributor or, alternatively, in an email to: support@centristech.com along with the following information:
___- Name
___- Company name
___- Centris order number (AAAOxxxx)

Step 4- Centris Technologies technical support will validate the request and will send back an Email with a new license.dat file. This file needs to be sent to the end-user.

Step 5 - The end-user closes FrontVue and replaces the old license.dat file with the new one. FrontVue is now licensed.
