PlantVue Personal Edition Limitations

Disclaimer

PlantVue Personal Edition is supplied free of charge, when used with 40 OPC tags or less. The software is in no way limited, either through a time limitation or disabled features. PlantVue Personal Edition is NOT intended for professional use. It is intended as an entry-level product for small End-User HMI projects. Applicability of the product remains the sole responsibility of the end-user. Please refer the the PlantVue Personal Edition End-User License Agreement.

Commercial Limitations

PlantVue Personal Edition can be used only in "End-User" type installations. An End-User installation is defined as any facility where the software will operate, and where its installation and use will be performed by one of the employees of the End-User. Each End-User facility can have a maximum of two (2) PlantVue Personal Edition licenses installed.

Where PlantVue Personal Edition CANNOT be used:

OEMs. PlantVue Personal Edition cannot be bundled into a third party OEM product delivery. OEMs that wish to incorporate PlantVue in their products need to purchase the regular PlantVue version. On the other hand, the OEM can use PlantVue Personal Edition in their internal operations as an End-User.

System Integrators. PlantVue Personal Edition cannot be implemented by System Integrators into their customer's facilities or systems. System Integrators need the use Regular PlantVue version when delivering turn-key solutions. On the other hand, The System Integrator can use PlantVue Personal Edition in their internal operations as an End-User.

Technical Support Limitations

PlantVue Personal Edition comes with no technical support whatsoever. If you require technical assistance with the software, either to determine if it is applicable in your operations or after installation, a block of technical support needs to be purchased. Please contact us for details.
